Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Establish and implement QA/QC procedures for design, procurement, installation and testing. Implement Six Sigma method of quality improvement.

Specific duties include:

Conduct performance-based design/analysis for Fire suppression systems for Automated
Storage &/or robotic systems with knowledge of associated fire risk & understanding of Fire behavior.
Select/justify fire protection systems for Automated Storage and or robotic systems.
Guide and train designers to achieve desired safety objectives and viable solutions in designing fire suppression systems in seismic & non-seismic areas.
Conduct design reviews/plan checks associated with construction and commissioning activities.
Establish and implement QA/QC procedures for design, procurement, Installation and testing.
Responsible for supervising 2-3 junior Mechanical Engineers.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Must also have five years of experience in the following:

Application of knowledge of Automated Storage Industry and associated fire risks.
Application of knowledge of fire behavior and applicable safety codes.
Handling of multiple turnkey projects simultaneously, from design to implementation of complete fire suppression solutions.
Coordination and communication of various aspects and configurations of fire suppression systems for Automated Storage Systems.
